Trip Overview
The Everest View Trek – 7 Days is a short yet rewarding Himalayan adventure designed for travelers who want to experience the beauty of the Everest region without committing to a long high-altitude trek. The journey takes you into the heart of the Khumbu region, where spectacular mountain views, Sherpa villages, Buddhist culture, and pristine Himalayan landscapes come together.
The adventure begins with a scenic flight from Kathmandu to Lukla, one of Nepal's most famous mountain gateways. From Lukla, the trail follows the Dudh Koshi Valley through beautiful forests, traditional villages, suspension bridges, and mountain settlements before reaching the vibrant Sherpa town of Namche Bazaar.
Namche Bazaar is one of the major highlights of the trek. Surrounded by impressive Himalayan peaks, this colorful mountain town serves as an important trading and cultural center for the Khumbu region. The itinerary allows time to explore Namche and hike to higher viewpoints for better acclimatization and spectacular mountain scenery.
The main objective of the trek is the famous Everest View Hotel, located above Namche Bazaar. From the viewpoint around the hotel, trekkers can enjoy magnificent views of Mount Everest, Ama Dablam, Lhotse, Nuptse, Thamserku, Kongde, and other Himalayan peaks. The panoramic scenery makes this one of the most rewarding short treks in the Everest region.
Along the trail, you will also experience the distinctive culture of the Sherpa people. Traditional stone houses, colorful prayer flags, mani walls, Buddhist monasteries, prayer wheels, and mountain hospitality provide an authentic introduction to life in the Khumbu. Depending on the itinerary and trail conditions, the journey can also include the traditional villages of Khumjung and Khunde.
The Everest View Trek – 7 Days is ideal for travelers with limited time who still want to experience the legendary Everest region. Although shorter than the Everest Base Camp trek, it provides an excellent combination of Himalayan scenery, cultural experiences, mountain walking, and close-up views of some of the world's highest peaks.

What our travellers say
“The Manaslu trek is incomparable. It's suitable as a first trek in the Himalayas — plenty of time for acclimatisation and such captivating views that spending time on "altitude sickness" would be a pity. And it's a special pleasure to walk with Krishna. He is a knowledgeable, reliable and brave guide, and a very pleasa…”
