Dolpa Region Region

The Dolpa Region, located in Nepal's rugged Karnali Province, is the country's largest and most remote district. Renowned for its untouched landscapes and rich cultural heritage, Dolpa preserves ancient Tibetan Buddhist and Bon traditions that have remained largely unchanged for centuries. The region is also famous for its traditional yak caravans and the breathtaking Phoksundo Lake, whose deep turquoise waters create one of Nepal's most spectacular natural wonders.
