Dolpa Region Region

Dolpa (also spelled Dolpo), located in Karnali Province, is the largest district of Nepal. It is renowned for its remote, untouched landscapes and its well-preserved Tibetan-influenced culture. Much of the region lies within the Shey Phoksundo National Park. Major attractions include the stunning turquoise waters of Phoksundo Lake and traditional ancient villages such as Dho Tarap.
