Trip Overview
A "Discover Bhutan" tour offers an unforgettable journey into the mystical Kingdom of Bhutan, often referred to as the Land of the Thunder Dragon. Typically lasting 5 to 7 days, the tour explores Bhutan's most iconic destinations, including the picturesque valleys of Paro, Thimphu, and Punakha.
One of the highlights of the journey is the legendary Tiger's Nest Monastery (Taktsang), Bhutan's most sacred and iconic landmark. Detailed Itinerary
After breakfast, we head to the airport for a scenic flight from Kathmandu to Paro, Bhutan. A representative from Nature Heaven Trek will assist you with the necessary arrangements before your departure. The flight offers beautiful aerial views of the Himalayan mountains, and on a clear day, you may enjoy spectacular views of the surrounding peaks.
After completing the immigration and airport formalities in Paro, we meet our local guide and begin the drive towards Thimphu, the capital city of Bhutan. The journey takes us through beautiful mountain landscapes, traditional villages, and winding roads surrounded by green hills.
Upon reaching Thimphu, we begin exploring some of the city's important cultural and historical attractions. Depending on the available time, we may visit sites such as Memorial Chorten, Buddha Dordenma, Tashichho Dzong, and local markets.
Thimphu offers a wonderful introduction to Bhutanese culture, architecture, and daily life. We take time to enjoy the peaceful atmosphere and unique character of the capital before checking into our hotel.
After sightseeing, we return to the hotel and have time to relax and enjoy the evening in Thimphu.
