The Upper Dolpo Trek trail continues past grassy hills, leading you through a dense forest until you reach a precipice. From here, carefully descend a rough, shaky stairway. You will then hike further along the riverbank until you reach Sulighat, where you'll appreciate the stunning natural surroundings.

Today, you will hike to the junction of the Phoksundo and Pungmo rivers. After crossing a bridge, you will follow the western bank of Pungmo Khola. The Upper Dolpo Trekking Route continues through a cedar woodland, arriving at Palam settlement. Then, you will climb to a ridge and descend through dense, green birch trees.
