A day tour of five cultural World Heritage Sites in the Kathmandu Valley. Start at Swayambhunath, then explore Kathmandu's Durbar Square and Patan’s art-rich Durbar Square. Visit the sacred Hindu site Pashupatinath, and conclude at the massive Bouddhanath stupa. Enjoy the journey with dedicated transport, offering flexibility and immersion in Nepal’s rich spiritual and historical tapestry. Entry tickets and lunch are not included.
After breakfast, take a scenic flight to Pokhara, the adventure capital of Nepal. Upon arrival, unwind at your hotel before exploring the city in the afternoon. Visit Devi’s Waterfall, Shiva’s Cave, and the Mountain Museum to learn about Himalayan history and mountaineering. Starting just north of your hotel, a short drive brings you to the bus terminal across from Dhampus Phedi, where your trek begins. As you ascend to Dhampus Phedi, enjoy the scenic rice paddies and millet fields. The trail leads through agricultural hamlets and blooming rhododendron forests to Dhampus, a vibrant Gurung village rich in Buddhist traditions and organic farming practices. The village offers stunning views of the sacred Machhapuchhare and the Annapurna Range, combining cultural immersion with breathtaking landscapes.
After breakfast, our journey westward takes us through terraced fields towards Goldanda, with stunning views of the Annapurnas. The route then heads southwest to Naudanda, where panoramic vistas of the Annapurnas to Manaslu await. We continue southeast to Sarangkot, a vibrant village offering expansive views of Phewa Lake and home to important cultural sites like the Temple of Shiva and Bhume Kalika. Here, enjoy spectacular sunrise and sunset views of Dhaulagiri, the Annapurna Chain, and Manaslu, showcasing three of the world's highest peaks. This breathtaking panorama highlights Nepal's natural splendor, offering a truly memorable experience.
Seize the daybreak with your camera before breakfast, as the sun ascends just west of Manaslu. The optimal spot for capturing this breathtaking moment is a mere 15-minute walk west of the village. After breakfast, your journey continues southward, weaving through the village fields before descending steeply through the forest for an hour. As you emerge below, the landscape transitions back to gentler farmland. Here, beneath the vibrant hues of morning paraglide, you'll make your way to the lake. A car will be waiting to transport you back to your hotel, leaving the rest of your day free to relax or explore as you please.
After breakfast, you'll be driven to the nearby airport for your flight back to Kathmandu. Upon arrival, a transfer will take you to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to enjoy freely, giving you time to relax or explore more of Kathmandu at your own pace.
