As we trek along the Khumbu Glacier moraine, we're greeted by the awe-inspiring sights of Khumbutse, Lingtren, Pumori, and the Mahalangur Himal. Upon reaching the base camp, our path leads us through rocky moraine to the High Camp, where we establish our camp, have lunch, and rest. The climb predominantly involves rock surfaces up to around 5770m, beyond which ice dominates and ropes may be necessary, with the specifics depending on the season and crevasse conditions. Our climbing leaders will judiciously decide on the use of fixed or man ropes. To prepare for the climb, we'll engage in pre-climb training covering peak climbing techniques and the use of essential climbing gear like ice axes, boots, crampons, and ropes. This vital training aims to enhance confidence and skills, significantly improving summit success rates and overall enjoyment. Overnight is spent at Lobuche East High Camp, gearing up for the forthcoming challenge.

Initially, our climb takes us over a rocky surface up to approximately 5700m, transitioning to ice as we ascend higher. Adhering to our leader’s guidance, we utilize both fixed and man ropes, with their deployment and length tailored to the season's conditions and the crevasses encountered. Lobuche East is renowned for its unparalleled panoramic mountain vistas. At the summit, breathtaking views await, featuring Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Ama Dablam, Cholatse, Pumori, among others.
